300 saum dead?

I can trade for one, but can't find any ammo anywhere, is this cartridge dead and only for handloaders now?

It's dead, but I think nosler still offers ammo, and you can buy brass from nosler, Norma, and Bertram I believe.

Hornady offers a 178gr ELDx factory load. Might be hard to find on a shelf, but any Hornady dealer can special order

Hornady, Nosler, Norma offer component brass

Locate 100-150 brass and your good for years

ADG brass might also make RSAUM. It is suppose to very high quality. Would have to import it and it is expensive.

I bought a mint bdl ss 700 in 300 saum haven’t done anything with yet other than a new trigger and firing pin upgrade. Bought it to rechamber to 270wsm but will likely keep it as a 300saum I no problems finding Remington factory ammo for that I’m going to pull the bullets and reload for it

I never developed a major interest in the 300 saum. I choose the WSM instead. Haven't looked back and only met one hunter who used it on one moose hunt. It could be reloaded if one is inclined to do so.
