300 Savage chrony results........

Rifle - 300 Savage 99F
Barrel- 20 inches
Bullet- 150 grain Hornady
Powder -40 grains H4895
Velocity- 2521 fps
The last 300 Savage I recently sold had a 24 inch barrel and got 2571 fps with Federal 150 grain factory ammo.
I chronied some 130 grain Speer HP bullets and got 2633 fps with 42 grains of H4895.
The last to be chronied were the 110 grain Speer Spire Point at 2736 fps loaded with 43 grains of H4895
All bullets tested shot into an inch and are below book max.........
