Was shooting tonight. No issues shooting weatherby loaded ballistic tips 180gr. No problem shooting hornady loaded eldx 200gr.. but nosler loaded 180 nosler accubonds.....they........ Shot the lights out, but jammed after every shot. I could stagger nosler for hornady for weatheby brass loads.. and the nosler brass jammed each time.

The bottom of the case was shaved slighty and almost scrape marks a the top of the empty , bolt handle was very hard to lift and had to give a bit of gas to pull it back.

Any thoughts?

Sound like a really hot load! Or the accubond being longer might be really close to the lend?!?! Might be useful to measure a few un-fired brass and compare the few brands.

What does the fired primer look like compare to the other brands?

Very Poor description of whats going on except “ bolt hard to lift and open “ that MEANS over Pressure ! With that brass and or that load . Jmo RJ

What exactly do you mean by "jammed." Do you mean that extraction was difficult? Perhaps that the extractor slipped off the case rim when you tried to extract? When I first read this, I thought you might mean that you couldn't chamber a round from the magazine. Please give us a little more information about exactly what happened with the 180-gr. Nosler Accubonds.

You are getting hard bolt lift and sticky extraction because the cartridges you are shooting are producing excessive pressure in your rifle. Move on to something else.

It isn't a rifle problem, only one load causes an issue, it's a load issue.

Not necessarily. All that can be said is one load has an issue when used in this rifle. Factory ammo should be loaded to SAAMI specs, in theory it should be fine in a SAAMI spec chamber. The OP has not provided the Make of rifle, nor Model of rifle. Factory rifle or custom, SAAMI spec chamber or custom, aftermarket stock, recall on ammo? The ammo that is "fine" might barely be extracting, the ammo that is "an issue" might barely be at issue.

The OP has provided not even the minimum of information to accurately provide a cure, and certainly not info to rule out the rifle being an issue.

With the provided info I would recommend cleaning the chamber to remove rust and crud, apply a dab of grease to the primary cocking cam and check for protruding stock or mount screws.

Rifle is an original Weatherby Vanguard, stainless, peppered black grey laminate wood stock. Original owner had shot weatherby brand loaded 180 gr accubonds sub moa. These nolser trophy grades 180 accubonds. Only rounds ive come across with this issue after firing. Yes of course ill stop using that round. Just curious as to possible reason.

The friend who gave the nolser factories to try, said they chonied hot out of his weatherby

Just alot of force to get bolt up.. and again to pull back.

Check the sides of the fired case/s for dimples or a frosted look, these can indicate what the chamber walls look like.
Check the base of the case for signs of the ejector impacting or the hole the ejector fits into.

Smoke or use some black marker on the bullet, chamber the cartridge then extract unfired. Look for signs the bullet is making contact with the rifling.

If the chronograph says the velocity is higher than expected, then the pressure is also high. The chronograph readings just back up the hard bolt lift, as both indicate high pressure.
