416 Rigby seriously blown out...Your basic PITA....
Does nothing more than a 30-378 with a long barrel.
Sort of appeals to the dark side I guess.
I built it when I thought you had to have such a monster to make long range hits...... Before I knew better:redface:

One of these days I will build a 338/408CT and will sell this thing to some unfortunate lad...Before he knows beter!

I have seen a couple of Nosler Partitions that lost the rear core when they "tumbled" in the game and then hit some heavy bone, but I have never seen a Partition disintegrate completely, regardless of impact velocity. Somewhere in the animal the rear section of that bullet will be, probably distorted and ugly looking, but disintegrated I don't believe. I have used Noslers to shoot well over 100 head of game in the past 40+ years. The vast majority [about 80%] exited, the rest I have at home. I have driven some plenty fast and shot game at close range....never a failure to work as designed, as far as I could determine. I am not "dissing" other, newer designs. I think the TTSX is a good bullet, but I will never live long enough to prove it the way I have the venerable Partition. Regards, Eagleye.
