Can a 300 Winchester (rem 700) be rechambered to a Weatherby?

reason: because I'm already tooled up and well stocked in Weatherby components.

Yes it can. The barrel should be set back at least 1/2 turn so the Weatherby chamber can be correctly headspaced. A full turn is there are sights to line up...
