300 Win Mag Feeding

Hey Gang. Does anyone know if a 300 Win Mag will reliably feed from a 300 RUM length magazine? I'm having internet issues here overseas so google isn't my friend at the moment. Thankfully CGN loads just fine!

I considering building a 300 Win Mag with a barrel chambered properly so I can seat long and get the damn bullet out of the case body. I've managed a few successful google searches for aftermarket dbm systems but the details are still not clear to me. Whether I stick with a BDL or go with say a Wyatt, Hawkins, PTG DBM remains to be seen. Donor rifle will likely be a Sendero.

The 300 RUM is fatter (larger diameter) than a 300 WM. There are enough different AI mag lengths available that you should get the mag length you are looking for. Lips on AI magazines are easy enough to massage to fit, if required. 3.850" is the usual outside dimension for the "long" magazines.
