Perfect excuse to buy an AR !!
I would tend to agree, just a matter of convincing my lovely wife of that.
Conversations with my wife generally go like this.
Her: hey when did you get that one?
Me: that old thing? Had it for ages.
Her: oh ok.

In my situation, its more like "Well, if you knew it was a good buy, or you could use it, why didn't you buy it?"
I've reached the point in my life that I can afford most anything I want or need.
You are thinking about getting a Tavor, but have doubts about your wife's reaction to buying an AR. Okay.....
I hope to reach this point in my life.......someday![]()

I guess you "could" use the 300 mag for service rifle... as long as you're comfortable shooting a few hundred rounds in a match...

On 2nd thought, it might be "cheaper" to buy a Norinco M4 that shoots 223... in a few match, the gun would be "paid off"
