REloder 22 is the powder I have finished with with every cartridge I've ever loaded for in that class. I have tried them all and always end up there, so now I start there.
Both IMR 4350 and 4831 are great powders to learn about the 300WM with. Good accuracy in almost all guns and good performance. While the reloader powders can give equal or better performance, I find they can be finicky in some guns.
I have been loading RL 22 and 180 grian tsx. 2 years ago friend of mine killed a nice moose with this loading. Recovered bullet looked just like the advert. We weighed it at 179 grains. We were loading 75 grains. Just around 3000fps out of the remington 700. I load 76 grains for my a-bolt II. Noone on the line like me when I touch one off as the BOSS really makes it loud.
