So I sacrificed a case, no worries though, it was a Winchester case 
. Cut some reliefs in the neck and used that to gauge where to seat the bullets. After cycling that through the rifle a few times I came to an average length of 3.504". Used that same "jig" to adjust my seating die to 3.499" and started reloading some rounds. I found that these 180gr SST's really enjoy 73.5gr of IMR4831 and now have a moose load for this year. Now to find some more 4831....
Yes, the rounds still fit in and feed from the magazine.... just.

I've done a little hunting in a few different climates and altitudes over my life..............
