300 Winchester short mag cartridge oal

Have just purchased a Tika T3 in 300 short mag and was wondering if anyone has adjusted cartridge oal to see if they got any accuracy benefits out of this. My 270 win loves 10 thou off rifling and was wondering if the 300 short mag is the same. One set back is the mag length but might be able to grind out. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions. Let me know what bullets powder and length worked for you
 
There is no way for anyone to tell what any change in COL will do for you in your rifle. Only testing will tell you anything worth knowing.
 
Your 300 WSM is quite likely going to be determined by your magazine length and not your leade. Mine was quite short so I used Barnes TTSX which like a significant jump and it worked out very well.
