.300 WM & 165gr bullet

I'm trying to gather some opinions on which would be the most ideal powder for this bullet wt.

I have yet to reload any 165gr. but with 180 and 200gr, my 300WM likes RL22

I have tried H4350, H4831 and H1000 in the 300 wm pushing Speer,Nosler or Barnes 165/168 grain bullets. The H4350 certainly had the speed but I could never get it to settle down into a great shooting load. The H4831 and H1000 both gave me outstanding results with speeds around 3000 FPS.

Give IMR 7828 a try. I have had very good results with the 165 gr. bullet and that powder combination.

I was talking to a buddy last nite who shoots a .300 H&H,he said he uses
N160 but it's a little more expensive?

Give IMR 7828 a try. I have had very good results with the 165 gr. bullet and that powder combination.

Rl-22 worked great with the 168gn bullets out of my gun.

I've had good results with 76 grains of H4831 with 165 and 168-grain bullets in a .300 Winchester Magnum.

Now what about hot/cold weather sensitivity with the powders mentioned?
I've been reading up on H1000 its seems to be a suitable powder for magnum or large capacity cases.

Well I picked up a 1lb of IMR 4350 only because that was the only powder they had that would be suitable for a magnum case.
I loaded some starter rounds of 70grs powder,I forgot my chrony but @100 my groups were under 2",I'm sure I can tailor them to go tighter.
I had the shop owner order me in some 7828.

I'm getting good results with H4831sc and 168 gr TSX's, most groups are very good(under MOA) I'm loading 76 gr, haven't chronographed them yet, should be close to 3100 fos.
