300 WM brass availability

Anyone have a line on high-end brass? Norma or Lapua?
Hornady might be ok also. I'm just tired of extra case sorting and prep

PPU brass for 300 WM is excellent. If you can find some, it costs half of Lapua or Norma. It weighs exactly the same as Winchester brass but it is much better made.

I bought 300x PPU cases in 300 WM a couple years ago because I was in a pinch and nothing else was available. My hopes were not high; I did cull them for neck thickness variation. Probably removed 20% but I was being very picky. They perform well; my load is shooting 3/4 MOA with virgin brass and 1/2 MOA with once-fired. As accurate as my factory rifle, anyways. Primer pockets are on the tight side, which I like. Colour me satisfied!

How would Nosler brass rate?

I found it soft in the .300, but that was awhile ago and things may have changed by now. Nosler brass has been sourced from different manufactures and at that time we all believed that the 300 were GMM. Very consistent, but the loads you know and love might need to be backed off.

Nosler 300 RUM brass which we've used a lot in the 338 Edge needed loads backed off 3 grains from Remington.

I too was sick of keeping track of different lot #'s of brass for my 300wm. I had Nosler brass from factory ammo, and some that was purchased as component brass. Case capacity between the two was vastly different. Then I had some W-W, and some Hornady...I sold it all when Lapua introduced 300wm
