.300 wsm hunting load

I've had two 300wsm's, both liked the 180 e-tip from nosler, used imr 4350 in the 60 grain range, can't recall of my head what the charge was. Shot a cow bison two springs ago at 120 yards and it dropped her in her tracks. Hit her again just to be sure, both shots were complete pass thru's. Broke ribs and offside shoulder before exiting. impressive, and would no doubt do an elk just lovely. Both shot tighter with 165 class bullets, and even better still with 150 grainers like the gmx.

I did end up buying Barnes 165 ttsx. The rifle in question has shot 165 gmx with about 1.5" groups and we are looking to improve upon that. Should be in the ballpark anyway. No doubt that bullet is up to the task, I've had some success with Barnes bullets in other calibers in the past.
If anyone else had some experience with .300wsm reloads in tikka rifles please continue to post here, the more info and previous experiences the better.

I run h4831 behind the 165 ttsx in my 300, I have also tried the 168 which worked well with superformance powder. With all the barnes bullets I usually get the best accuracy between .050 and .070" off the lands. Excellent hunting bullet for sure.

I have loaded the 165 TTSX in four 300 WSM, including the T3. I use H4350 and in the tikka the oal is set by the the short magnum clip. Velocity is the the 3030 to 3050 fps.
