300 wsm powder??

I just bought a Sako A7 in 300wsm and so far RL-17 accuracy sucks but RL-19 shows some promise. I am going to try H4350 soon as that is what a shoot from my 260 and have some on hand.

I've had great results first time around with 178Grn Amax and 63grns of H4350. Federal 215 primers if it makes a difference. I was getting .75 groups at about 100-125m.

Does anyone have any idea about how much punch I'm losing with a 20" barrel tikka battue vs the usual 24-26" barrels? Not that I'm going to switch rifles.... gotta love a 6lb gun firing 300wsm!

Probably 20fps or so per inch of barrel, not enough to worry about in my opinion.

In that cartridge more like 25-30. He'll be pushing factory 180's across the chrony at 2850ish.
