I've been having a hard time trying to locate rounds in the North Okanagan for a 300 WSM rifle, wo during if there is an end to the shortage of these rounds? Anyone know?

They aren't as plentiful as they used to be. I live in Winnipeg, and Cabelas has just two to select from, both rather pricey. Luckily I don't shoot mine much, and reload for it. 300WSM has been scarce for a few years now. Can't even get the brass for cheap anymore.

I'm assuming you've checked Canadian Tire in Vernon? They had a pretty darn good ammo selection last time I was in there but it's been a few years at this point. Could try asking for the manager of that department, see if they can order you some.

Tough finding 300wsm in places. I have never bought a box of factory rounds for mine. But always stroll down the ammo isles anyway looking to see what's available, or on sale. As mentioned above, Canadian Tire sometimes has a pile of ammo, as mentioned above.

As someone from the Lower Mainland, seeing that much ammo at a Canadian Tire was eye opening lol

Most Canadian Tires around don't have much, this is the one in Swift Current, SK. I think the one in Yorkton is similar.
