300 WSM vs. Rem700

My new Remington 700 in 300wsm is not ejecting the empty cases. The plunger pushes the extracting case to the right, but when they clear the front opening of the port they do not fling out as in other cartridges.

It appears the lower edge of the port mouth is too high for the chubby little cases to clear. What to do?

Where'd you buy it ?

Your dealer should be able to provide assistance.

If not, Remington web site under "Support", Warranty Repair,
Canadian centres. One in Vernon, one in Vancouver.

They may even send you a new gun if it's ongoing issue. Don't alter the gun if you can get it fixed professionally for free.

Get a 300 Win mag and you won't have that problem.........
