Hey, any of you guys have pet loads for 300 wsm 180 sst ? 11 twist barrel thanx

try win760 starting at the 66ish grain range and work up likely wont take long to find sweet spot

Since my 300 WSM showed pressure signs at 67 grains of W760 and the 165 grain bullet,
I would start a bit lower than 66 grains with the 180.

Yours may be fine with 66 gr or even more with the 180, but to be safe, I would start lower.

FWIW, my 300 WSM really likes W760 and the 165 grain bullet.

With the 180, I have been using Norma MRP with great success. [Reloder 22 should give similar results.]

Mine liked the 180 sst with r-19 about 1 1/2 grains below max from the alliant load data. Don't remember off hand what the load is but it was a fed. Case and cci 200 primer. I decided to stick with a bonded bullet out of the magnum (mostly because of the grizzly bear factor where I moose hunt). Still can't get them to group as well as the sst's did though.
