I think CZ858/FSN (vz58's that are hard/impossible to find new) owners should take notice at the higher value. Lets just say due to the BS that happened, NR 858's just went up in value. However, we don't know what the selling price was. That's what you should take out of this

Meh, this community is no different than any other hobby, there is always the scum that put $ ahead of everything else; the PMAG debacle being a larger example.

Especially interesting when you consider the rule "you should not profit from things you sell on the EE"

Sounds like OP needs to buy himself a business account
Is it really profiting if you sell something you will not be able to replace for the same cost(ie. close to purchase) in the future. Long ago I bought a really inexpensive Breda Garand in great shape, a few years later I sold it for a couple of hundred more than I paid for it. If I were to sell it now I could get probably get at least 1200-1500 profit looking at some of the sales online. Now if I want to replace a garand it would cost me at least a grand-fifteen hundred so the couple of hundred profit I made is kind of null and void . When the importer decided not to import more 858's for whatever reason that means supply is in sharp decline and limited to what is in the country at this time.

Once the Wolverine/CZ project CZ958's and the Century Arms units come in, they will effect the market drastically. Pretty interesting stuff.

I thought it was a joke for 3000. I was gonna message the guy and ask if it had an extra 0

But I can guarantee it didn't sell for 3000 or at all
