I have some left over Lil'Gun and Hornady 308 SST 125gr bullets
I intend to load them for testing in 300 blackout

In the Hornady manual the max load for this 125gr SST is 20.0gr Lil'gun (but Quickload says this would be 18000psi over the SAAMI max)

Apparently the same 20gr Lil'Gun is also the max for Hornady 130gr SP bullets

Hodgdon's max for 110gr VMax bullet is ... 20gr Lil'Gun too

I'm a bit confused

I know to "start low and go up slow" but knowing about where to stop saves some bullet pulling time.

First forget what Quickload tells you, besides case capacities in H2O and all the other inputs you need a chronograph and change the powder burn rate until the two velocities match.

You also have different throat lengths on the Blackout, so workup a load for your rifle.

Simple Trick for Monitoring Pressure of Your Rifle Reloads

NOTE, the throat in my Savage .223 is longer than the throats in my AR15 rifles and can be loaded "warmer" than printed data. Meaning load data isn't written in stone and why you are told to work up loads.
