300H&H after the refurb. (BRAG ALERT!!)

The word "keeper" has a few meanings.

One is a leather strap wrapped around a gun belt to keep it from slithering up on you, and another is any firearm I buy!

Well I was gonna be mean, just to be contray to everyone else, but I'll be nice since its the weekend :p
Just curious why you didn't have the bolt handle blued? Can't help but think it and the shroud would look better that way.

Good question! That's the way I got it, and I didn't consider that option. :)

Paul that is a nice one, I had a Browning in 30-06 that I should have held on to...I'm not to sure what you mean by a keeper did your wife tell you that's the last gun you can buy?...you better sit Rick and myself down sometime and explain this keeper thing to us..lol....

   Ye gods. Avert your eyes. That put me right off my dinner.

Thank heavens you have good taste in firearms.

(I mean, it's not so much the slippers themselves, but... PINK? With drab green shorts? Ugh.)

Hey Paul, nice looking rifle(even if it is the B word).Wanna trade, I got a real nice Cooey .22 here, already been cut down for kids, though.

That is very easy on the eyes Super and the caliber is classic in both function and choice. Beautiful wood and the fit and finish look outstanding as always from Jason Spencer.

I just hope you don't let it rub up against any of those Jerkamatics in the Gun Vault.... It could revert to its Bubba Roots....;) :D
Sorry Super... it's my job.:dancingbanana:

Cool :) I didn't know Jason had shipped it to you yet :) I was playing with that gun 2 weeks ago - it seems to have turned out pretty nice. I like the way he fixed up the mess of a swivel stud job that WAS on that stock and made it look good again :)

Now all you need to do is get a decent 2-piece base instead of that one piece so the rifle will have its lines back and it'll really turn heads!

Congrats :)

Yes, I was happy with that repair as well, very pleased overall.

Any suggestions? I kinda like the all-steel Weavers, but there are lots nicer than them.
