Well, I have wanted one for a long time now. Recently I had one offered to me that I couldn't refuse ;) :D

Some of the details from the previous owner:

Bought the gun from Shooter's Choice and sent it to Bevan King for fitting of 300 H&H bbl as the original bbl had issues (toast). Got the bbl and all steel magnum length bottom metal from WGP. I had a 1" Pachmeyer Decelerator added. The gun was then sent to Jason Spencer at Gunco. He reblued the entire gun, except bolt. The lugs were checked for even contact and trigger adjusted. Gun was glass bedded and bbl free floated. All the checkering was cleaned up and the stock refinished.

These pics have been posted here before a time or two ;)

Nice looking rifle Dave! You're going to have trouble deciding what to hunt with this year.

Thats no different than any other year :D. Half of the fun is the decision process before the season. And as you can tell, I have all ready started ;).

I thought I recognized Paul's deck in the pics! That's a very, very nice looking rifle. I hope you'll be very happy together.

:) Stuart

Paul!!!! I was really hoping to see that rifle. I was even willing to brave the slippers, but I figured I had lots of time. After all, you just got that rifle finished!!!! Now granted, it's not a pumper dumper, but it's pretty nice all the same.;-)

Wow... I'm surprised Superclub flipped it so fast, as it was actually quite a nice looking rifle :)

No idea what all Bevan did to it, but the work Gunco did for metal finish and fitting was first rate as I was there when the smith did the work and can attest to it's quality ;)

This has got me to thinking Dave. If it is coming this soon, you will have a load figured for it by summer. You know what that means....... that plastic 270 will likely need to stay home this year. Heck, you may as well sell it!

A super 30 stoked with 200gr pills is great for what roams the rocks, as well as what roams in the willows below too. I think you know what I mean. ;) ;)

Did you book your holidays yet?:)
