.300H&H & whitetail for 2015.

Took this young Whitetail near Lumby,BC. last week with my recently acquired pre-64 Winchester .300H&H. Taking that first head of game really starts the bonding process with a man and his rifle I find....sigh, I feel better now.

Good eye 1899. Think that one went to "Wild Bill". Had a couple more go through my hands since then.
Big bucks weren't showing up for me the one and only week I had in the field this year. Oh well, can only go up from here.

Nice buck Geoff, and the rifle definitely has some class! Not many days hunting whitetails in BC that I would not have been happy to get that buck.
