300rum 210g vld

I would like to know what you guys think about the 210g vld @ 1000Y for the 300rum.

thinking about using retumbo!

I use 93.5gr but start at 89 and work your way up. I get .42 of an inch groups at 100 yards at 3100 fps.

I say try the 230gr berger. The added BC will make up for the velocity loss. I have run both the 190gr and 210gr, both with retumbo and had good results. I ran 92.5gr of retumbo with the 210 and if memory serves me 96gr behind the 190. Remington brass and cci mag primer.

I think the 210 would be great!
They fly to a mile in my 300Win Mag. no problem. They should fly even better from the 300 RUM.

Great bullet and Retumbo is possibly the best powder.

I use 95.0 grs and get 3050 fps out of a 26" barrel
107.0 grs of US869 gives 3180 fps.

BCs can help for sure. but accuracy is more important,, SF was shooting a 210

your saum would/should rock 210s
