Hello, new here, just wondering if anyone has used IMR 4350 in there 300 rums...haven't tried it yet...7828 and ret. have worked well so far, but im going to some 208 gr. match. thanks!

4350 is too fast to take advantage of the case capacity. My rifles liked R-25.

Retumbo with the 208 gn or US 869 or maybe H50BMG..............4350 not even in the ballpark..........way to fast for heavy bullet in 300 RUM.

H1000 would be a good one too.

With the 208's, I use powders at the Retumbo and slower burn rate, e.g. Re25, Re50, US869 and 20N29. Re33 (when it's available) would be worth a try as well.

I have some stats from a fella who tried the 4350, and he got amazing results. Im a little sceptacle ...IMR 7828 has workd great for me in this overbored cannon, retumbo not quite as good...but good non the less. Can't expect a gun like this to drive tacks, but loonies and toonies are somewhat realistic...consistantly anyways. (for a factory rifle)

Anyone try the 168 gr TSX barnes??? Be prepared to go through some patchs when you clean!!!! seem to copper foul really bad...the first 4 three shot groups were ok, then things spread bit by bit.

Does anyone have any loads they would like to share??
