I purchased a Rem 700P in a 300 WM a while back and I am now getting set up to reload for it,What would be the best load out there for this gun?The reason I ask is because I can't pick up powder or anything else for reloading anywhere near here,so when I go on vacation I need to pick up alot of powder, primers and bullets. Thanks:) :)

I had real good luck with 178gr A-Max with federal brass, federal GMM215M primers and reloader 22 powder

I can't remember the charge weight but it was a very Fast and "FLAT" shooting round

With my 300 Win Mag the load that works best is:

Lapua Brass
200gr Sierra Match HPBT
72.5gr H4831sc Powder
Federal Match Large Rifle Mag Primers

.25" 5 shot groups @ 100yds

I use IMR4350 and Hornady 150gr and 180gr SST.
For plinking I load down to 308 Winchester.
For deer, I load to 30-06.
Moose and other large critters I load 300 Win Mag.
Deadly accurate at all three loads. The 308 and 30-06 have soft recoil. 300
mag loads kick like a mule. :D

I have had the best results with Reloder 22 and second best was h1000. H4831 wouldn't produce good velocities or accuracy in two rifles for me. I have settled on a 168 gr TSX, fed magnum primer, 75.5 gr of r22 OAL .015 off the lands in a RP case. Produces very good accuracy, hits very hard, just under 3200 fps.

I have a good load for the big guys.
Sierra 220 gr round nose
70.0 gr IMR 4831
Remington brass, Win. LR primers
C.O.A.L is 3.365" (in my rifle)
I can get 3 shot groups of less than 1/2" consistantly with this load.
Chronographs at 2795 fps

This is a max load, so work up to it carefully.
I loaned this rifle to a friend for last spring's bear season, and he got his bear through both front shoulders (bullet not recovered) at 268 yds. One shot, BANG-FLOP!

I have good results with H4831sc using CCI Magnum primer. I pratice with Hornady SP bullets and hunt with Nosler Partition in either 180 or 200 gr.
