I intend to start reloading 300wm ammo, but I need some info about what brass I should buy, your opinions people are welcome.:)

I've had good luck with Winchester and Remington. Some of my cases have been loaded 15-20 times. Federal brass (cheap ones, not the match grade) have been poor for me, with only 1 or 2 loadings and the primer pocket is expanded too much, even on reduced loads....

I'm sure there is a lot better brass than those mentioned, but these are cheaper and more available.

YMMV

I use winchester for that cartridge, had great luck with it specialy with 165 grainers accuracy and velocity was bang on with H-4350 powder.

I like Norma, Nosler and lapua myself, but not for a hunting rifle.

What about ''new norma brass (browning headstamp)'' at $24 per 50 that Higginson powder is selling? sounds a good deal to me but, anybody had tried them?

Any comment on the "Frontier" brass that Hornady uses? I've been saving mine with reloading in mind.

I've been using Frontier brass...and i could've swore it was from GMM that i bought...but at any rate i've reloaded them twice now with no issues they seem to be holding up well and accuracy is fine..i'm loading 208 gr a-max with H4831 powder...only loaded up to 72 grains of powder so far but no pressure signs yet...not sure on Muzzle velocity but they sure smack harder than the 190 gr GMM...i would say give'em a try
