Hey guys,
Just gonna start to reload these 2 cals and was just wondering if any of you would like to share some accurate loads???
I'll be starting off with 165gr Accubonds in the 300wsm, unsure yet of powder but leaning towards reloader 17 and 19.

What worked for my 270 WSM
  • Varget for lightweight 110gr bullets
  • H4350 for mediumweight 130-140gr bullets
  • Retumbo for 140gr and over bullets (huge muzzle blast)

H or IMR 4350 for the 300WSM.
IMR 4831, or 7828 for the 270WSM.

Being able to buy powder in bulk from Hgginson's is why I've gone away from the RL powders.
Aliant is up and down like a hooker's petty coat on payday...and what's the point of finding a load if tomorrow you get a differnt lot # of powder, or there is no powder to find.

Like this stuff is any better or easier to find on a repeatable purchase format as compared to RL powders??

If you've got someplace who has this stuff on their shelves even 50% of the time please tell me where.
 
Going with hornady superformance and 165gr ABs in the 300wsm to start.
H4350 and 140 winchester silvertips in the 270wsm to start(got great deal on the silvertips)
 
62.5 g with H4350 and 180 TTSXs worked for me (slightly less than MOA with 4-shot groups) - velocities in the 2940 fps range . 63.5 was actually more accurate - however, without published data, I was worried that I might be slighlty over pressure with velocities in the 2965 range.
