once upon a time, I had a handy little load worked up for my lee enfield with some speer 150g bullets riding about 40g of imr 4320.

I've started my journey into casting, and I'm wondering if any one has a pet 155g load, or if any one would happen to know a decent starting load for said powder/bullet combination.

forgive me if my search-foo was weak, feel free to promptly harras me for it so long as you can point me in the right direction :)

thanks all!

Here's what I have from an older Lyman book:
155 gr cast w/gas check, bullet #311466 & #2 alloy
Unique starting @ 11.0 gr. Max @ 15.0 gr
2400 starts @ 20.0 gr. Max @ 24.0 gr
IMR 4227 starts @ 25.0 gr. Max @ 28.0 gr
.....nothin' for 4320

With cast bullets, bear in mind that velocity is the governing factor. That is, a 155 grain cast can not, in general, be shot faster than a 200 or 220 grain bullet. Therefore, a much more potent load can be made with heavier bullets.
Further, the heavy, long bullets in bottle neck rifle cases, are often more accurate than the lighter bullets.
