i'm looking for a load, { start to max} for a 303 british using 150 gr bullets and imr 4895 powder, i have a pound to use up.also looking for load data for the 308 norma mag {start to max]for 150, 165 & 180 grain bullets using Reloader 15 powder,i have a pound to use up as well. thanks Dean.C

RL15 is too fast burning for ideal use in a 300 magnum, although it will work at lower velocity. Id think it would be hard to find data for that powder in a 308 norma, although if you can find data for IMR 4064, it will be suitable to use with RL15, as the two powders share a very similar burn rate

Dean,

Try this site.

This is what got me started in reloading. You'll find some recipes for the 303.

IMR Handloaders Guide states:
303 British 150gr bullet with IMR 4895 44.2 grs. This is their max load. Start with 10% less which is about 39.8 grs & carefully work up from there.

This is all the info I can scrounge up right now. I don't have any info on the 308 norma mag listing the powder you want to use.

The Lee manual was sitting beside me,for 150
H4895 57.0gr 2940f/s to 62.0gr 3192f/s ,since H4895 is faster than RL-15,you can use those numbers,and a chrony.

Use QuickLoad software, it will run up loads for any of the (many) calibres it lists using thousands of bullets and most of the commonly available powders (plus a whole bunch of European powders).

My PC with QL on it crashed (love XP?), but if you PM me I will send you some loads when I get it up again.( right now I am on my spare/back-up MacBook).
