303 #4 barrel run through Canwest trigger NOW NO5 & NO1 RIFLES

LOLOLOLOL Forget about the rest of that the barrel supply is going dry for the #4 rifle and they are giving us a choice hang it up or give it new life.

The walther barrels are a brand new venture for us! Due to the complex profile of the barrel, Walther has requested a large initial order. We don't have a good enough handle on the demand to project in-house inventory yet.

What we are doing to taking orders. If you send us an e-mail with your name and phone number we will contact you when we place the order. We will ask for a deposit at the time of order.

As it now stands the price will be around $395 CDN. . Our barrel price may fall a bit if the barrels make it to a "regularly stocked status".

Hope this answers your questions

Regards
Brett

Finally, we've found Bubba's website!

Cool website, thanks for posting, I have wanted a Gibbs 45-70 enfield for a while. This may be the place to get the parts to make one like it.I wonder how the new trigger performs..

To the negative comments I say baaa! I think its more about updating a rifle that has already been sportered , I doubt that anyone with an original configured enfield would have much interest in these products.just sayin:)

Why not build a new Lee Enfield from old parts?
Longbranch action from marstar and other parts
new barrel ,what wrong with that. A project in the works
So what if you can buy a complete rifle cheaper.
You endup with a so called new Lee Enfield and its
CANADIAN made. If the parts are availble for the build
let the games begin.:nest:

A Monstrosity

Yes of course because a rifle made in the millions with a fkd barrel is worth about what 100 bucks. Some of you purist guys are a little light in the logic dept. You know there are people that actually buy rifles with the intent to SHOOT them, as god and longbranch intended.

I don't know about that,I always have my own little time of sh*ts and giggles when I go to the range and my old milsurp's ring the gongs. Much to the chagrin of the folks with them there fancy new improved rifles that have to be cooled 10 minutes between shoots.

I have no problem finding parts but the problem is BARRELS [5 GROOVE] i don't want no 2 groove no matter how good some people say they are i have to have 4 and up grooves.Or there is some 7.62 barrels floating around you can go down that road but this company is offering a way to stay 303.

Yep - I love shooting .303; very pleasant .30 cal round to fire through a gun. I would buy one of those barrels for the right price. But then again, I would also buy a new, unfired 1955 UF, sporterize, and then shoot it. So I guess I am a little different that way. :D

No I think you misunderstood. I shoot everything I own. I love to shoot milsurps mostly mosins and enfields. my collection is currently 8 milsurp rifles and 3 non milsurp so you see what I like. putting a new barrel on an enfield with a fkd barrel is a great idea. Rifles are for shooting not ogling.

Are those with 303 bore's or 308 bore's?

From the linked page in the original post:

We are very pleased to announce that we have contracted with Lothar-Walther of Germany to produce a small run of original, military specification, Lee-Enfield rifle barrels.

These #4 barrels will be made with a traditional (.311) .303 British bore. They will feature bayonet lugs and replicate exactly, external military dimensions. The 4-groove, button rifled barrels must pass modern, rigid, quality-control testing requirements. We are expecting outstanding, sniper-grade accuracy from these units.

A Lee-Enfield with one of these barrels in place should be capable of MOA accuracy. This is roughly 4 times better than the traditional requirements expected from war-time production barrels.
