303 #4 barrel run through Canwest trigger NOW NO5 & NO1 RIFLES

Yes of course because a rifle made in the millions with a fkd barrel is worth about what 100 bucks. Some of you purist guys are a little light in the logic dept. You know there are people that actually buy rifles with the intent to SHOOT them, as god and longbranch intended.

The original link, when this thread was started on 02-15-2012 was of the other monstrosities that the company makes.

I'd like a new 5 groove barrel that is actually .311 for one of my rifles. However, both of my full military No4's are still all matching bolt, barrel reciever, so I won't be doing this anytime soon.

I don't think anyone will be parting the barrel off of full wood matching no 4's. But as a way to desporterise an #4 for military competition this is a great idea.

That first run was just a feeller they are going to make it a stock item just wait for the next load.:)

The walther barrels are a brand new venture for us! Due to the complex profile of the barrel, Walther has requested a large initial order. We don't have a good enough handle on the demand to project in-house inventory yet.

What we are doing to taking orders. If you send us an e-mail with your name and phone number we will contact you when we place the order. We will ask for a deposit at the time of order.

As it now stands the price will be around $395 CDN. . Our barrel price may fall a bit if the barrels make it to a "regularly stocked status".

Hope this answers your questions

Regards
Brett

As uberkermit states, they are already sold out.

I really hope aftermarket mil spec barrels become a easily acquired item, if they weren't sold out already i'd probably buy 5 and start returning a few bubba'd sporters back to their former glory

I emailed them to ask about the no.4 barrels and the next run will be in the summer. No wait list, first come first serve. Got my stripped action ordered now to find the parts till then!

I hope they made the chambers to tighter dimensions than the originals.

Now some Ross barrels, that would be interesting...

Exactly. Nothing wrong with a No.4 re-barrel to something more fun to shoot like .32-40 Winchester.:)
My one is a switch barrel unit ready for another tube in .25-35 for even more sh*ts & giggles.

This rifle started out as a Parker Hale post war, 2 groove barrel sporter so it was pre-bubba'd.
