I was reading a bit about the Ranger's adoption of the new C19 and C180 cartridge, when I got to wondering who will be supplying the stocks of this cartridge, and if they'd continue loading 303. Were they using Campro bullets?

I would guess that general Dynamics would probably load ammo for them. I really doubt they’ll keep loading 303, and I’m certain they make their own bullets and wouldn’t use campro.

The last crates of .303 IVI MK8Z ammo we had come up for periodic inspection were of 2010 manufacture.
So they were producing the stuff at least up to then.
And yes, there are hoards of it in the system (mostly at 3rd line depots now backloaded since Rangers have no demand from 2nd line ammo facilities) still and it's all just sitting there, perfectly serviceable with no 1st line user requirement ATM.
What will become of it? I've heard rumours from very high ammo sources of handing it over to the Rangers for use with their Enfields they will also be allowed to keep.
That's one option. Or the time tested method of selling it to whichever sketchy, borderline totalitarian state makes it under the wire of approved national military stock buyers list this year.

One thing is for sure, they won't be selling it or giving it to serving CAF veterans who hold valid PALs because that would just be madness right?....
