Probably not at that price.
303, does seem to be less popular today then it was a hundred years ago.

What did they want for 30-30 SP?

I stock piled reloading stuff for it very quick over the last 2 years. Saw this coming. It should be back in the shelves one day.

Gotta love sask. Always 3030 and 303 around anyways. Herters 3030 is like 25 a box. But I reload it with 110grn m1 carbine bullets for varmint too.

Your local Canadian tire is run by morons. Individual franchisees determine what firearms products they stock and at what price. You can still find it for much less at other shops and site sponsors.

Canadian Tire is nuts when it comes to ammo. Our CT wanted $26.98 for a box of 28 gauge Challenger target ammo and the same ammo at our local gun shop was $9 cheaper.

The ammo at CT is still sitting there on the shelf.

Its wierd...other ammo is not as overpriced,308,243,30/06,and others were about the same price....just the 303-Remington by brand...

Might be due to the Remington bankruptcy and some distributor/retailer's computer seeing that the demand is still there but the supply isn't so the last units on hand are a premium product. Apparently Vista acquired that part of the business (along with already having CCI/Federal/American Eagle) so there might be Remington ammo again soon. Or buy a different brand, or a reloading press.

Yup,reloading presses in operation, and there are no other brands to buy, everything else is sold out,and no replacement expected anytime soon...I believe it's the over buying and shortages from down south are showing up here...

.303 British. $72.99 in Hamilton Canadian Tire. 4 boxes remain for last 6 months. Used to be 20-30 on display. In fact just about all the ammunition makes and cals. are very low or gone.
Epps store also shows 0 rds for sale .303 cal.

Hmmm... How many new guns are being made in 303? How popular is 303 in the US? My guess is that 303 is being pushed into obsolescence by new calibers such as 6.5 Creedmoor etc. Be interesting to see what happens to 303 after the pandemic issues..

No, not at all. The US has had an influx of Ethiopian SMLE's, No 4's etc. (in poor condition I might add). Most likely a focus on modern cartridges and sales numbers due to labour shortages and the pandemic..
