600 per thousand for surplus .....
nope ...... most dealers are approaching 1.00 per bullet.... like the new shop in PoCo here in B.C.
140.00 for a 140 rnd battle pack
if i can't get surplus for .50 cents a round or less ...... I'll spend my money at dealers who offer good selections on reloading components and let the high priced dealers who are doing nothing for the sport by jacking prices.... sit on thier ammo till it rots.
that all said.... and to be fair to dealers here..... there ain't much difference between current sky high ammo prices in canada..... and the now sky high prices in the U.S.

"...spikes for a bit and we get a reprieve..." Don't count on it. The supplies of inexpensive milsurp .303 are long gone. Those of 7.62 NATO are going that way. Even when King Obama ends the war, it doesn't mean any surplus ammo will come to Canada.
