I had a friend awhile back give me a pile 303 blank shells,
my question is,can I reuse these for normal shells or just
for blank fire use? I kind of think they will not be good
for regular use shells but I thought I would ask.
What do guys think?

Like the other guys said......but.......

Have a look at the primer flash holes inside. If there's one hole, it's boxer type. If there's two smaller holes, then they're berdan primed. If they're boxer primed, carefully, with a lot of lube inside the case neck, try and resize one or two. Don't use a huge amount of pressure trying to force the expander through it or you'll damage the die. I'm going to guess it won't work because of the stretching the brass took when they crimed it, but it's worth a try. If the neck looks all mangled up when you're done, just toss them. If they've got berdan primers (2 flash holes), I would bother trying. Hell, we can't find boxer primers right now, forget berdan. Even if you found some, they're still a pain to deal with.

I just had a look, the blank shells have the two holes and my
regular shell have the single hole.I learned something today,
I didn't know there was a difference.This just a thought,
could I trim the neck just below the crimp or would this be
a whole new problem with the fit of the bullet?

I'm known as a guy who will try just about anything, but if I were you, I'd give up at this point. I'm not sure what scrap brass is going for these days, but I'd say you've got some on your hands ;)

The blanks are more dangerous to have around than is regular loaded ammo. That is because the powder in them is more an explosive than regular smokeless powder. My guess is that if one was set off, say in a fire, it would go off like a hand grenade.
The safest way to get rid of them may be to go to the range and fire them.
Just my unprofessional opinion.

really not worth the effort to reload scavenge some brass from the range of buddies. The necks will be worn and and their prob berdan and corossive too dont waster your time.

Throw the things in the garbage and be done with it. You learned something today so its not a total lose. Use the proper brass, no use taking chances on something this close to your face. You did remember how that bolt lines up with your brain right?

"...the blank shells have the two holes..." Berdan primed. If you can find primers, they're still more trouble than they're worth to reload.
"...trim the neck just below..." Won't have enough neck. Save your energy and pitch 'em. Or cut 'em down for drawer pulls.

These are spent shells,it is best I ask then you fellas read about it in the paper.:D
I don't have a reloader yet and I'm still not sure which one to get yet.
I'm looking for one to reload a wide range of shells from 44-40 to 303.
