Has any one out there tried using 7.62 x 39 124 FMJ bullets which are 311 diameter in 303 British? I would like to try it. Anyone got reloading data and suggestions?

I am thinking of using IMR 3031 or IMR 4350 powder.

There are several threads on here regarding this idea. I have used bullets and powder pulled from surplus 7.62x39 in my .303's. I then used 5 gr. 700x with a Lee 93 gr. WW bullet in the primed surplus x39 cases and fired them off in a Baikal single shot. :)

I also pulled bullets from surplus 7.62x54R and used approx. 80% of the x54R powder in .303's. I then loaded around 12 gr. Unique and a 155-160 gr. Lee GC WW in the x54R cases and fired them off in a 91/30.

No waste and lots of fun shooting! :p

I shoot them almost exclusively in my P14 for target plinking with WC735 powder, Herters or IVI brass, 2750fps.
I use the Hornady bulk bullets, quite accurate.

from what ive gathered, are the rem corelokt 180gr 303 bullets a .310 ...... surprisingly ok accuracy in my ruger1 but suprising..
