303 brass shortage?

Maybe it's just me but notice the only 303 brass I can find is hornady, not hurting for brass but wouldn't mind getting more to add to my stockpile does anyone k wow is the hornady brass is any good?

I picked up 750 pieces using a WTB ad last week. Don't pay more than 40 cents each a piece (that would be for CLEAN 1F).

You just need to live in a place like hants county and then take it out on your back deck.

Are you loading boolits in your enfield? my adventures in normal power loads using jacketed bullets resulted in case separation. After a lot of research, dental floss, O-rings, bolt heads, and new barrels I just decided to load boolits with 2400

Winchester .303 brass is thin and stretches badly if not fire formed correctly, meaning it would be the last .303 British brass I would buy.

Privi Parizan is the best modern commercial .303 British brass, it has a larger base diameter, is .010 thicker in case wall thickness in its base and has thicker rims.

A little low on brass myself,due to reforming to 6.5-53R and 303 Savage. Only about 300 backup. Privi brass is very good and goes to my Enfields. Winchester brass forms well for 6.5. Neck sizing with lead bullets in 303 I was up to 14 reloads before I desided to garbage them. It helped to keep separate brass for each rifle. Brass in my Martini lasts fairly long once formed to chamber,its chamber is the longest, fl sizing only 2 reloads. Even if full length die is backed off cases last a lot longer.

I'm laughing at the Hants County reference. None of us would ever do that, except maybe the guys who dragged a 27" tube TV all the way to the 100 yard mark at the range in Stanley just to shoot it. Those things are HEAVY!
Our horses aren't big on gun fire, mounted shooting would be a hel* of an adventure..
