.303 Brit Ammo???

Hey guys,

I'm from the west coast in the city and as of now there is only one place I can get .303 brit.
I went in there the other day to grab some rounds for pinking and due to the ammo shortage they are fully out.
I'm wondering if anyone has leads on where to buy .303? It's getting more and more scarce which is suprising
because everyone and their grandma as a lee enfield these days.

And that's exactly why it's getting scarce. Everyone wants to feed their Lee Enfield

A buddy who was in the Canadian Rangers gave me 10 boxes of fresh IVI stuff a few years ago.

I only shoot a tiny bit of it now and again in my Ross or LE.

I prefer to spend my range time tuning my hunting rifles.

IS it time? WW2 ammo is getting to the dangerous maybe OK or not stage?

IIRC some (maybe all?) British-made ww2 303 ammo was made with Cordite, which is known to degrade in dangerous ways over time. If its 1940s production 303brit I wouldn't personally shoot it.

The other thing to consider is storage conditions - its pretty hard to know what sort of conditions 70-80 year old ammo has been in over that timeframe. Stuff thats coming in on the surplus market in crates or spam cans is one thing (like the 7.62x39 and whatnot commonly available today), but random boxes from a gun show? I'd be very leery about that.
