303 Brit battle rifles?

So I love shooting 303 British and I do enjoy shooting my endfields but I’m wondering if there are other rifles chambered in it? Like semi auto, obviously I know about the Bren and Lewis gun but I’ll never be able to own those rifles unless there not prohibited, so is there anything becides an Enfield that shoots 303 Brit

That’s too bad I think it would be cool to have a hcar style rifle in 303brit

Several of the British makers built Mauser 1898 actioned sporting rifles in .303 British.
There were a number of semi-automatic rifles which went thru trials from the late 'teens thru the late '20's which were chambered in .303. The Farquhar Hill is probably the best known and most available...
The Browning Automatic Rifle was trialed in .303British during the 1920s.

They had a tendency to toss the steel heat shield. Sometimes it would double even triple.

Jamming could be an ongoing concern.

...finding one that cycles reliably even moreso.

OP, .303 is kinda cost prohibitive. Most places is like $4 a round for off the shelf stuff. A $40 dollar magazine is one thing when operated with a bolt, but it's a whole other thing in semi auto? $$$$$$$$$

I've seen quite a few over the years on the EE, for prices much lower than what an svt40 is worth these days. I suspect their reputation for reliability (or rather lack thereof) is a major reason they don't demand huge prices on the used market, plus the lack of affordable 303 ammo can't help.

Mostly the issues are caused by a poorly adjusted gas system, a good one (especially the shortened version) that has a properly adjusted gas system, is light, handy, accurate and quick handling. As far as the cost of ammo goes, reloading is your only friend.
