Has any have information on Mauser's chambered in 303 Brit? I bought one years ago and put in back of safe and kinda forgot about it until recently. It has a Mauser bolt and chambered Brit 303 with a one piece Fajen stock.
Just looking for information if anyone has any greatly appreciated.

Is yours made up of one of the Siamese Mauser actions? Not a sported P'14?
I think there is a vintage British made .303 Mauser in the EE at present. British gunmakers did build Mauser rifles in .303. Getting the magazine and feed correct would be the challenge.

Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania were recipients of VZ 24 rifles chambered for the 303 British I believe. Supposedly they each received 15,000 of these rifles shortly after WWI. Personally, I've been searching for one of those for close to 50 years and most collectors seem to think they are only rumors. But two different authors claim to have seen them and state they exist.

There were also some custom rifles made up on 98 actions chambered in 303British. I believe Rigby and Holland & Holland both made them on special order.

What I wonder about is that your rifle has a Fajen stock. I sincerely doubt Fajen would make a special run just for a very limited amount of these rifles, which to my knowledge never entered North America in any quantity. Mind you it wouldn't be difficult to modify a Fajen after market stock made for the Siamese Mausers.

I have seen Siamese Mausers converted to all sorts of different rimmed cartridges, including the 303 British.

Cz advertised them trying to get into the.303 market. The only buyers were the British who bought about 20 for testing Ammo. It was a military design not sporter. Basically everyone already had their enfields

Mauser Werke made up a special intermediate action for the .303 for Rigby's around the turn of the last century. It would be a gem if you had one of those. The bolt face and extractor were different from standard Mausers for rimless cartridges.

Wouldn't it be nice for it to be a 98 sporter mauser with the slant magazine for rimmed cases?Westley Richards etc
