Harold, the Herter's brass may have been made by Norma. I do know that they bought a lot of stuff out of Yugoslavia. The J9 actions which were copies of the BSA actions (mausers) were made there and were very nice. Many of their single action pistols, were made by Sauer and they claimed that they were actually stronger than the Ruger Blackhawks. Supposedly tests were done to compare strengths and the Rugers failed first. I have one of those single action pistols in 44mag and it's very well made as well as accurate.
The IVI brass is good stuff. I like it a lot and keep it separate from the pile because it is heavier by several grains than commercial stuff, so requires a different load. I save it for use in a 1950 Long Branch.
