303 British Dies

Well now, Mr. J, no reason why he can't reload for the carbine. I also want a set of 303 dies, as I gave two grandsons each a 303 sporter type, we have a Jungle Carbine a son wants to shoot and I got interested in shooting a Ross, which is in really good condition. Thus, we are running out of various types of factory, or military, ammo.
I was hoping to see a set of dies at the recent Kamloops gun show, but didn't get a chance to do much looking.
If I'm in a "tight" mood I will get Lee Dies, but If I'm in a splurge mood, I will get better ones.
The Jungle Carbines have a reputation for being pretty good kickers, so your friend may want to keep theloads a bit lighter.

I have a Lee set. They work fine like all my Lee dies. Budget shooter supply usually has them. If not, Higginsons might or Titan reloading/FS reloading should. A faster powder will usually reduce felt recoil in shorter barrels. The 7.5 lb JC is still a pussycat with most modern factory loads anyways but I've never fired surplus through one to compare. At any rate you shouldn't have much trouble finding something you like. Its finding bullets that can be a little harder these days with guys still hoarding like the end of the world is upon us.

Lee delux is my die of choice. You want a neck sizing die unless you are sharing brass between guns (which I don't recommend on the enfields) my only beef is my seating die is all over the place even on match bullets with tight allowances.
