303:British hunting use

^ do you have a link to that thread with the common rifles and cartridges from hunting in BC in the ‘30’s ?

I used to have an image from an old eatons catalogue but I can’t find it. The big takeaway was that 32 rimfire ammo was about a 1/4 of the cost of centrefire ammo and a Stevens single shot was one of the cheapest guns. Bet a lot of game got taken with those in the lean years.
 
These are from 1916 so no enfield yet, last one from the 30’s still no sign of the tree oh tree
