I've been looking around but I can't seem to find any. Is .303 British available surplus?

303 British is available at almost any online seller (just click on some of the links above). I have also found it at my local Wal-Mart and Barron's. Should run you between $17-$25 for a box of 20.

There has been no good supply of surplus for years. Odds and ends turn up.

I would not use military surplus in my Enfield. The corrosive properties of the primers and the powders eat the barrel.
If you want to save money you might consider reloading. Initially expensive but if you shoot lots the costs come down considerably.

That's the plan Glen. Unfortunately at the moment I live in a tiny apartment that I've filled with many well-loved guns without thinking about the need for a reloading bench. I'm on the market for a bigger place so I'm getting there.

Jean, at P&S Militaria, occasionally has Canadian WW2 .303 surplus and I mean occasionally, the only trouble is he has it for local pick up only.
