.303 clips

Does any body make a smaller 4 or 5 shot clip for the 303 Lee Enfield? I'm looking specifically for a No. 3! I know you can modify the 10 shot clips but I'd like to leave the original as it is.

"....303 clips..." As in magazines? There are some 5 round mags available, Stateside, but you don't need 'em in Canada. Both models of the Lee-Enfield are exempt from the mag capacity rule.
If you don't want to carry the extra weight, such as it is, just load 4 or 5 in the existing mag. It'll work just fine.

You might try Dave Jennings in Pritchard B.C., Ph # ( 250 ) 577 - 3244, I got a few from him about a year or so ago, were well made, both # 1,s and # 4,s ----- Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!
 
303 "clips" cannot be modified to hold more than 5 rds. 303 "magazines" on the other hand are avail in both 5 and 10 rd configuration.....

Thanks for that. I am so (fill in the blank) of people calling magazines clips.
Although, the Rednecks at SIR in Winnipeg (God bless them) still refer to mags as clips. IT IS TIME TO EDUCATE THE MASSES.:wave:

I like the five shot magazine that I got for my L/E. It sits flush with the stock and makes it very comfortable to carry in the bush one handed.
