303 Epps

Al Phillips does the Epps conversion on .303's. I was considering having it done on one of my P-14's but haven't got around to it. If I remember correctly he lives just north of the perimiter off of Henderson. I don't have his phone number anymore, but his email address is: abphill@shaw.ca

Hey Bronco, I was in your town last weekend for a funeral. Quite a few changes since I was there last. I liked the wolves and murals in particular. - dan

I'm sorry to hear that the reason you had travelled here was for a funeral. Yes they are making nice changes in that regard, trying to make our community better. Although there are a lot of bad changes happening as well, like the huge crime rate, and the increase of drunk street people down town.

Yeah, I noticed that in the mall as well. It's a shame, there weren't anywhere near those kind of problems there when I was a kid, and Thompson had twice the population then as it has now. Next time I go up, I'll PM you, maybe we can get together and talk guns and such. - dan

Sounds like a great plan buddy, I'd deffinately be up for that.

I am no expert but have a P14 303 Epps for which I have yet to reload. Mytiscplayer on the precision rifle board has advised me that it possible to reload the 303 Epps with the regular 303 British Lee Collect die (which only neck sizes). Much cheaper than custom dies. I purchased my Epps dies before I got this advice, so maybe you can save a few $$. Be aware that when rechambering to 303 Epps, you often lose some magazine capacity because ot the fatter cases. No real problem but something to consider.
