I got myself a .303 enfield at the Kamloops show. I don't know the model but it is the trapdoor style magazine (built in)... I haven't been out to shoot it yet, but I went up to whole sale sports today and got a (2) pack of the aluminum snap caps made by A-zoom so that I could play around with the gun...
Here's the problem... I put both dummy rounds in the magazine and pressed them down into place and appeared to be sitting right... closed the bolt... opened the bolt and here is the problem... not just 1 round ejected, but the next round in the chamber ejected to, didn't just come up nicely so I could close the bolt again...
what could be causing this? metal worn out inside the internal magazine? Could it even be the snap caps themselves? when I load the mag by hand, they seem to sit nicely... so I am kind of at a loss...
Thanks for any ideas
