Beware of repro bayonets!
A lot of people consider the RIA bayonets to be repros.
From what I gather, India and Pakistan both had a lot of No5 rifles, without bayonets.
Many of the bayonets from the UK had been utilized for other firearms, so there just weren't enough available.
Depending on the bayos, many of the RIA bayos were IMHO variants that were manufactured for their militaries and issued for existing rifles.
The later produced versions can be pretty obvious as soon as someone tries to fix them on a rifle, because they don't fit.
Finding a bayo for a #5 is difficult, finding one with a proper scabbard is even more difficult. Finding both together in VG or better condition is luck of the draw.
At the last Chilliwack gun show I attended a few years ago, a very rough bayo/scabbard combo was on the table next to me with a $350 price tag. It lasted about half an hour and was sold without any dickering.
I spoke with the fellow that bought it and he told me he had been looking for one for years, that he could afford
