There is mention on Lee's website that they can/will make custom case length gauges. Modern Reloading 2nd Ed is showing both 303 Savage and 308 Winchester having the same case length of 2.015. I don't know how much difference in trimming length there would be using a 308 Winchester gauge seeing the 303 Savage is rimmed, compared to the 308 Winchester, but if I was you, that's where I'd start. Or get a custom made one. Sorry for the run on.

If you choose this route, you'd need a different shell holder than the one used for 308 Winchester, looking at different cartridge rim sizes, the shellholder for 30/30 would probably work.

Lee can make custom case length gauges, but you may have to wait a while.

Edit: I think the .308 one would probably work, given the same OAL and bullet diameter.

Use your calipres. A vernier can be locked at whatever length required.
Have load data in my Lyman book if you want it.
Max case length: 2.015"
Trim-to: 2.010"
Max OAL: 2.520
Uses a large rifle primer.
"...the .308 one would probably work..." Same max case length. Different Trim-to and OAL.

.308 has a shorter specified trim length, but I fail to see why trimming .303 Savage cases .005" shorter than standard would cause any problems. The case has a longer neck than .308, so neck tension would not be a problem. It seems arbitrary that .303 Savage should only have .005" between trim and maximum length compared with .010" for .308.
