There's .303 Savage data on Hodgdon's site. Only 170 grain bullet though. Tradeex lists Prvi brass at $80 per 100.

I'm up by the P.A. Park
Yup, when I get the chance.

Hi KC, does the Ackley book give starting and max weights for the powder charges?? Thanks Dogger

Sorry Dogger, that's all that P.O. wrote on the matter apart from another load for a powder that must be long gone:

150 gr. bullet
HyVel #2 powder 26 gr 1960 fps
HyVel #2 powder 32 gr 2360 fps
180 gr. bullet
HyVel #2 powder 30 gr 2265 fps
190 gr. bullet
HyVel #2 powder 30 gr 2000 fps

I found this on Wikipedia on the "Hercules Inc." page:
"Military Rifle (MR) # 19 was a tubular powder containing 20 percent nitroglycerin introduced by DuPont in 1908 and was renamed HiVel (# 1) when manufactured by Hercules. It was modified as HiVel # 2 in 1915. Production was discontinued in 1964. A smaller grained version was produced as HiVel # 3 from 1926 to 1941."

f.y.i. Ackey's Volume 1 was first published in 1962 when HyVel #2 was still being produced.
